Keep in mind that there may be custom duty and sales tax charged depending on which country you are shipping to which is out of my control.
A tracking number will be provided with each shipment along with option of insurance.

2. HOW LONG WILL SHIPPING TAKE?
For ready artwork, it will be shipped from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia within 2-3 days upon payment. Please allow 5-7 working days for local delivery and up to an additional 14 days for international shipping.
For commissions, it depends on type of medium used as they each have different drying times (anywhere from 4-8 weeks for oil painting and usually no more than 7 days for acrylic painting depending on thickness of paint layers). They will not be shipped unless completely dry and ready for packing.

3. CAN I RETURN/ EXCHANGE AN ARTWORK?
Returns:
All sales of artwork are final. All artwork is inspected before shipment. Each piece is packed carefully to ensure your art arrives at your doorstep undamaged.
If you are concerned about color variations, please check pictures of artwork on multiple screens or email me and I will send you additional photos of the artwork you are interested it.
Every order is handled with as much care as possible. For that reason, I cannot be liable for any mishandling, failed/ stolen delivery, or any damage incurred during and post delivery.

Exchanges:
If upon receiving the artwork you have ordered on the website and you find that the color does not suit your space, I am happy to make an exchange with another piece that will work better, but ask that you bear responsibility for shipping cost of exchange and to send the artwork back carefully packaged in its original packaging or in sturdy packaging from your local post office.

Unfortunately, I am unable to replace/ exchange any artwork that has been damaged during transit as each original piece is one of a kind with no prints or reproductions, and please understand that it is not a situation I can control. As is the case with stolen, lost or failed delivery. If any of that happens, please contact the shipping service personally to file a claim.
If your purchase is sent back to my studio due to failed delivery, I am happy to reship it back to you and ask that you assume the cost of return postage.
Please inform me before attempting to return/ exchange a purchase.

4. WHAT IS THE PROCESS LIKE FOR A COMMISSION?
After receiving an email from you on the type of artwork you would like to commission, I will contact you within 2-3 working days to get a confirmation. After a 50% down payment (via PayPal or bank transfer) is made to secure your spot for a commission, I will start on your artwork depending on the queue. You will be sent progress photos if you choose to, or you could also wait for a surprise!
I work with common mediums such as acrylic, oil, water color and oil pastels. I will paint most anything such as landscape of your favorite memory, pets, portraits etc. However, I will absolutely not copy a painting of another artist.
If you would like an abstract (my favorite type!), I do request creative freedom as I paint very intuitively for abstracts. You will be able to pick the base colors and I will work from there.
My goal is to create a one of a kind piece that you will cherish for life so please try to provide as much information as possible if you have a specific artwork in mind that you would like.

5. HOW LONG WILL A COMMISSION TAKE TO COMPLETE?
Please allow up to 4 weeks for completion of commissions. This is just a guide so please be patient as it also depends on the queue list. Do take into account drying times for different mediums (4-8 weeks for oil painting and 1 week for acrylic mixed media) on top of shipping time. If it is a gift, gift wrapping with a hand written calligraphy note can be included.

6. THE PIECE THAT I HAVE MY EYE ON IS MARKED SOLD. CAN YOU MAKE ANOTHER ONE?
Yes, I am able to replicate a piece sold in terms of color and composition. Sizing is also highly customizable to suit your space. However, do keep in mind that it is impossible to get paint to react the exact same way, especially for abstract art. This means that variations will occur, and it will never be a 100% copy of what has been sold. But hey! That is definitely a bonus as the painting that you own will always be one of a kind, since I do not work with prints. This is because I would like to make sure that collectors and buyers have the assurance that no two pieces are exactly the same.

7. SHOULD I FRAME MY ART?
Definitely! I highly recommend framing because it makes it even more beautiful, helps draw focus to the piece and protects it from dust. If you have chosen to receive your purchase with frame and know what frame you would like, feel free to let me know. If you don't, not to worry! I could come up with some suggestions and we can work together to find a suitable frame. Alternatively, if you trust me enough, I could help make life easier for you and make the decision on your behalf.

8. I BOUGHT AN ARTWORK. DO I OWN IT NOW?
To the extent that you have the right to display the artwork anywhere you wish. However, all artwork is held under copyright even after purchase and is the sole property of Ling ten Have. I retain all rights to all artwork I create including commissioned paintings. That means I retain the right to make another copy of any and all artwork I have created, and the collector or buyer is not allowed to reproduce or resell the artwork in any way without written permission.

The full or partial rights to the artwork is up for purchase in addition to purchase of the original. If that sounds like something you would like, I am happy to discuss that with you.
