new collection
This is the first time I have created paintings that could be put together into a series. 16 pieces, because that is my lucky number. It came about almost by accident, in my search for something that I didn't even know at the time.
With all the unrest and uncertainty that is going on in the world today, Whether it is searching for a cure, coping with not knowing what is coming next, or searching for peace within ourselves in isolation, we are all just trying our best to navigate the storm around us, holding out for a search light.

This is an ongoing collection of little pieces of abstract color study. I use these mini paper off cuts to practice with limited colors and experiment with layers and textures.
These are fun postcard sized abstracts made with soft oil pastels. They are part of my process for a quick and loose warm up before I start painting. It is a great way for me to build trust with my own intuition. More pieces will be added as I continue on this journey so keep an eye out!
